Redevelopment Project Vision
In 2004, Westcor unveiled its proposed plan to redevelop Biltmore Fashion Park as part of its philosophy of investing – and re-investing – in the community. Phase I is now complete. Phase II of the redevelopment will focus on enhancing the property’s ambiance, architecture, retail mix and the live-work-play and shop environment. Biltmore Fashion Park’s multi-phase redevelopment plan creates a dynamic, pedestrian-scale neighborhood that anchors a vibrant urban core, combining an unparalleled shopping and dining experience and a rich heritage with a sophisticated high-density lifestyle and corporate employment.
Phase II will include a residential tower with first-floor retail on the center’s northeast corner, which would be serviced by new underground parking facilities. Improved connectivity also will be a focus of the project. A city planned underpass will link Biltmore Fashion Park to the south side of Camelback Road, improving pedestrian traffic between the center and employment/ living in the Camelback Corridor.
Phase II efforts will build upon successful communications to strengthen Westcor’s position as an innovative leader that actively reinvests in the community. It also presents a unique opportunity to reinforce Biltmore Fashion Park’s reputation and history as the Valley’s original luxury lifestyle center. The following recommendation is designed to support communication efforts for the project’s Phase II construction.
