April is Earth Month at Biltmore Fashion Park! Go green and check out our special events, see how our center's retailers are working toward sustainability, take our pledge to use a reusable bag, and more.

This Earth Month, we are asking you to pledge to always use a reusable shopping bag. Macerich shopping centers have partnered with One Tree Planted this April to fund reforestation and urban shade projects across the United States for every pledge made. We can do this together! About One Tree Planted

Our Earth Month partner, One Tree Planted, is a nonprofit devoted to planting trees in both open spaces and urban areas. They also do educational outreach to teach communities about the importance of trees and motivate the next generation to do something positive for the environment. Trees are such an essential part of restoring nature and biodiversity, so help us help One Tree Planted plant more of them!

Pilates in the Park

Join us for a rejuvenating Pilates in the Park event on our beautiful Center Lawn on Saturday, April 13 at 10AM in celebration of Earth Month!

They also reuse and recycle production remnants, samples, and scrap donations. Just one example of how they love the earth. Turn your blues into something new! Chicos is prioritizing introducing fabrics made with more mindfully produced and sustainably sourced raw materials into their designs! In 2022 they introduced 36 new Mindful Fabrics for a total of 98 Mindful Fabrics in their collections.


Evereve is on a mission to reduce its waste by 15% by the end of next year and is making progress toward its goal of having 100% sustainable denim by 2025.

J. Crew

J. Crew is re-imagining its fabrics and processes with the Re-imagined collection —from using organically grown cotton to partnering with mills and factories that are environmentally responsible and Fair Trade Certified™—to make them better for the planet and the people who produce them.

LensCrafters (Inside Macy's)

Donate gently used prescription or non-prescription eyewear to help another person in the world see more clearly through the OneSight program - a family of charitable vision care programs dedicated to improving vision through outreach, research and education.


Since 2018, Lovesac has repurposed 180+ million plastic bottles from the waste stream into Designed For Life furniture. Here's how: recycled bottles are collected and cleaned. Then, they are chopped and melted into chips that are spun into sustainable Repreve upholstery fabric. Sactionals are designed to be maintainable, upgradeable, and are guaranteed for life.

lululemon – One Tree Planted Supporter

Round up any lululemon gear that you’re ready to part with. Make sure to check that each item is in good condition and eligible for trade-in. Once your gear is reviewed, you'll immediately receive an e-gift card for eligible items. E-gift cards are redeemable at your lululemon store and on Thanks to your trade-ins, lululemon kept 127,450 pounds of gear in action.

Return your clean, empty products to a participating M·A·C counter* in-store If they can be recycled, they’ll be shredded, washed, re-pelletized and recycled into the production of new materials – or, in some places, they’ll become a new M·A·C product The packaging that cannot be recycled will be converted into energy.

Shop the Sephora Collection, offers the best in beauty without compromise. Sunglass Hut (Inside Macy's)

Shop sustainable styles from Emporio Armani, Burberry, Arnette, and Ray-Ban! Each brand has sunglasses with materials like plant-based BiO-Matter®, bio-acetate, and/or bio-based lenses.


Sleep easy knowing that 100% of Tempur-Pedic’s wholly owned global manufacturing facilities are powered by renewable energy! In the U.S., they recycle 100% of the Tempur-Pedic® products returned. This equated to over 1.9 million pounds of foam and 500,000 pounds of metal recycled in the trailing twelve months ended September 30, 2023.


One percent of proceeds from the largely recycled 19 Degree collection supports environmental causes that are part of the 1% for the Planet network. Recycled collections use fabric made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles and nylon.

White House Black Market

WHBM’s parent company, Chicos FAS, is making it a priority to introduce fabrics made with more mindfully produced and sustainably sourced raw materials into their designs! In 2022 they introduced 36 new Mindful Fabrics for a total of 98 Mindful Fabrics in their collections.

Williams Sonoma

Sustainably sourced products are marked with organic, FSC, OEKO-TEX, Greenguard Gold, Fair Trade, and/or Hand Crafted labels. Williams Sonoma partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation has removed 323,000 tons of pollutants from the air.


The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory has distributed more than 7.3 million pounds of food to more than 700 local non-profits while also donating more than $6 million to Feeding America® since 2008. They have outperformed many of their sustainable sourcing goals — including transitioning their bakeries to cage-free eggs three years early.

Starbucks (Inside Macy's)

Starbucks is working towards a goal of all cups being reusable or compostable by 2030. To achieve this goal, you can now get a “for here” cup at locations with café seating, refill your own reusable cup (including mobile orders), or use a one-time-use cup engineered to be constructed of more recycled materials and less plastic.
